Yugoslavia was a country located in Southern Europe. In 2003 it was renamed in Serbia and Montenegro. In 2006 it split, giving birth to two different countries (this is just the most recent part of Yugoslavia’s splitting process. Here is the full history, if you’re interested). All the balcanic area is composed of beautiful countries, with a strong and ancient culture. But what caught me attention is its pop and folk music from the 70′s and 80′s. I don’t really know the artists I am reporting in this post, but their album covers are simply hilarious, authentic pieces of art in their ingenuity.
