Please follow the next two steps for sharenator though...

    Screen shot 2011 01 15 at 22 02 PM

Whatever you say to contradict me...

Websites cost money to run, depending on the setup. Here is what you pay for to make a website...
    >Buy some servers or rent them from a hosting company
         >Get a fast Internet Connection with fast UPLOAD speed. Not required if rented servers.

    >Get an OS to run it on.
         >Pay for Windows Server Edition if you want to use technology
         >Get a free Linux server edition, such as Ubuntu Server Edition, or CentOS in Sharenator's case, and install Apache.
         >Get a paid linux such as Red Hat linux, which have built in server support.

    >Get a domain name (
         >Maintain the domain name, normally a yearly fee.

    >Upgrade your server's hard disk space so you can get more and more pictures uploaded to go on your website.

These are the basic costs of Running a website.

    Now, consider website income:
    >Premium Versions. We all hate paid accounts. RapidShare, MegaUpload and other file hosts are the worst to do this.

    >Donate Button. Not guaranteed to bring in any income though.

    >Advertising: This is the major income of websites. It brings in money, though the user doesn't have to pay a penny. Simply by clicking on an advert will give sharenator a bit of money. Just by clicking!!
All of Google is built from AdWords. Google makes ALL of it's money from advertising, originally by them text ads at the top of search results etc. Now they are being more inventive (and annoying) with new things such as Video ads.

What I am trying to say is, for websites you really like, disable adblock, and just click an ad every now and again. Once clicked, let it run though the redirects and load the new page. Once the target page loads, close the tab, and Sharenator has just earned a bit of cash to go towards the running costs.

    +1 for wall of text
it's cool I just did that thx for the info ^^

I actually did this before looking at the comments and if this wasn't here a comment like it from me would be. I don't mind the adds on Sharenator as long as they aren't the annoying auto-play/ no mute ones...

yeah there is a post about that... if you are getting audio adverts that play automatically, report them to the post "Report audio ads here!"
