The Ukrainians protesting against stricter laws on protesting. Ukrainian logic...

They're protesting because people want to join European Union one day, but the president denies people, and do business with Russia instead. Goes east instead of west. And people are fighting with police, literally. I saw how they put couple policemen on fire.

Oh I see, sorry, CNN misinformed me.

They should just trade with the UK. The UK wants to leave and the Ukraine wants to join. The names are close enough... kind of.

People of Ukraine just don't want to be a "soviet union" block again ... they got their independence from USSR back in August 19, 1991. Protests are going for 2 months already and started after their president political directions shifted towards east. So it's revolution called Euromaidan, people are fighting for their and their children rights and better tommorow. If government would listen, this woun't happen right now, everything would be solved peacefully in a more humanic way.

that's completely logical. if the US government passed a law saying we couldn't protest during the day in a major city you could bet your ass i'd be in the middle of one protesting the shit out of it. protesting is our right and one of the only non violent courses of action people have.

I'm going to be completely honest I knew about Ukraine's existence but I had no Idea Kiev existed. So I guess all I can really say is, freedom?
