Anamorphic Illusions By Felice Varini
Swiss artist Felice Varini has been creating illusions of flat graphics superimposed on three dimensional spaces since 1979 using the same eye-deceiving technique called anamorphosis. The final work can only be seen from certain angles and only then it comes up as the mind blowing illusion. If you take a look from other directions, you will only see randomly drawn shapes.
The artist is well-respected and has more than 30 years of experience. The most notable his work would probably be “Cercle et suite d’éclats”. While being in the mountains, Felice took on the challenge of working at the scale of the village, superimposing perfect circles on the town of Vercorin in Switzerland.
