You take my breath away

"Tonight was such a beautiful evening. Hanging out with the gang at Wings was great. But the best part of the whole thing was you. During the movie when you laid your head on my chest, it just felt so right. The feeling of being so close literally took my breath away. Maybe one day I will be lucky enough to have that every night. Even though I don't deserve, I still greatly wish for it. I know you deserve someone better than me, but it doesn't stop me from dreaming. Every moment with you is a moment I treasure. I never thought I could feel a love so deep for a person. You have changed me. You make me want to change even more. You make me a better person. Every text I get from you brings a smile to my face. I wish I were brave enough to tell you to your face how I really feel. But instead, I write it on this blog full well knowing it won't ever reach your eyes. Oh well, I will now stop rambling. Thanks for being so great."

Discuss. What should I do? I've never had trouble before expressing my feelings to someone. But, this one is different. I've never before been such close friends with someone I had feelings for. That is something I don't want to lose. If I have to go my whole life with her just as my friend, it'd be better than not having her in my life at all. I've known her for about 3 or so years now. And each year we grow closer. Another reason I hesitate to tell her is because I am a no good work drone. She is going places with her life. She leaves in August for college at Master's Commission in Atlanta Georgia. I don't want to stand in her way at all.

You'll never know if you don't try, maybe she feels the same way. Take it from a girl, dude. Girls always prefer it if the guy makes the first move. Take her out, just you and her, see how things go. Even if the worst happens and she says no, if she's a true friend she'll stick around. Keep that bearded chin up, dude, no matter what happens, us Sharenators still love you :D

i've had friends like this. and normally it ends up making everything awkward or strange. but i'd say go for it. cause having an awkward friendship means it can be fixed and you can try again or not later. but if you dont do anything you'll only be friends.

Thank you for your reply. I will definitely take that into consideration.

For a moment there i thought you had stolen this from my diary and posted it on Sharenator :P. But seriously you and me are kind of in the same situation except i've known her for a little more than a year and i would only see her in school. I've almost completely given up hope of anything happening with her since she's got a boyfriend, he doesn't treat her like he should. Last week i dreamt about her like almost every night. My grandma or somebody in my family told me that when you dream of somebody you like it's because they're thinking of you. I like to think this is true. But then again i'd rather have her at least as a friend forever and see her be happy than to make things awkward and not have her in my life at all

Bro, go for the gold. Don't let anything hold you back. I talked to her about it and even though we aren't dating, it made things between us a whole lot better. She has confessed to me that I have 90% percent of what she is looking for in a man. A friend of mine that talked to her without me knowing found out that I am at the top of her list (of three) of guys she would like to marry. So seriously, go for it. You live once. Awkwardness wares away, broken hearts mend, regret is with you forever.

Well she has a boyfriend of two years. So yeah i don't think she'd dump him that easily just for me. Besides i haven't seen her since school finished which was almost two months ago. I have her on Facebook but that's a really gay way of telling her how i feel, it's better in person. I already graduated highschool and she has one more year and is planning on going to college in Austin when she graduates. I don't know if i'm gonna join the Marines or go back to Mexico so it'd be really complicated if we did end up dating.

Life is complicated. Nothing worth having comes easily. Don't tell her on facebook, I agree. Ask her out for a cup of coffee or dinner or whatever it is you kids do these days. Be mature about it. Tell her you aren't asking her to break things off with her current boyfriend, you just felt like you had to tell her. Be sweet and romantic about it. But, also don't let your emotions overpower your judgement. Be sincere and deliberate.

I remember she would laugh at my awful jokes haha. I guess i didn't realize it back then but looking back i think she really liked me. Ah fuck i should've just gone for it sooner.

Do you still have a pulse, Cadet? Then there is time. If you aren't dead, you can still captivate this romance. Just be sure to not get stupid in attempting so. Stay strong, stay smart. Get on that pony and fucking ride! Sweep her off her feet and prove you are worthy.
