Unfortunately, there's money in putting people in jail for it. There's prison building and guard hiring/training. (Thank god these two businesses don't get along, otherwise all hope is lost.) Even though the gov't would save money on law enforcement, and could make revenue by taxing it, there's always one obstacle or another.

Well that's what you get for smoking ^_^
    - DarkHunter August 8, 2011, 9:43 am
    Yup. Curiosity killed the cat...
    - TexBex August 8, 2011, 10:05 am
I shall never do drugs, I'm too awesome ^_^
    - DarkHunter August 8, 2011, 10:06 am
You were probably going to get them anyway. Especially if you are still getting them. You need a psychiatrist.
    - LindaClaudine August 8, 2011, 11:07 am
    I have a psych. Thanks.
    - TexBex August 8, 2011, 11:44 am
you have already done more drugs than you know.
    - johnecash August 8, 2011, 12:05 pm
I agree. If he was indeed scared for life for tying out pot, the anti pots smoking crowd would had paraded him around by show how deadly they think pot is. But facts are facts, thc leaves your system. when its gone, its gone.
    - johnecash August 8, 2011, 12:08 pm
Well before that I had no idea my brain could come totally effing unglued like that (panic attack). Don't think I'm hating on your precious weed, I'm just sharing my personal experience and why I don't enjoy it.
    - TexBex August 8, 2011, 12:10 pm
    Too awesome I say!
    - DarkHunter August 8, 2011, 12:46 pm
For some it does cause panic attacks. But if the attacks don't go away even when you are not smoking, that's not the weed doing it.
    - johnecash August 8, 2011, 4:58 pm
If you're referring to drugs in medicine or food, those are perfectly safe. Even if there's a negative effect, it's too far from illegal drugs to compare. But hey, if you're eating burgers that make you high, I want in on that shit.
    - Ertrov August 8, 2011, 5:13 pm
The drugs can still be the catalyst even if the problem continues later. It's kind of like if you break a bone and it still gets sore sometimes after it has already healed.
    - Ertrov August 8, 2011, 5:16 pm
I find that statement interesting. Just because a drug is legal does not mean it isn't harmful, there are plenty of legal drugs that will do much more harm to your body than weed. I'm pretty sure any painkiller or sleeping pill comes with a higher risk.
"I could always be wrong, as I have been before"
    - drakengard85 August 9, 2011, 12:23 am
Well, I should ave been more specific, and added that it's only true if you don't take more than you're meant to lol. But yeah, side effects in certain people are a fair point. To a large extant I just contradict with whatever Johnecash says, whether I agree with him or not lol.
    - Ertrov August 9, 2011, 12:55 am
i agree that can happen. but there are other problems that pot only helped bring out, not cause.
    - johnecash August 9, 2011, 6:06 am
But the point is that it helped bring them out.
    - Ertrov August 9, 2011, 2:53 pm
That is your point. No one is arguing that. Try to stay on topic if you can, not just what you are wanting to talk about. Now to see if you are paying attention or just trolling, what was the point of my first post on this thread? Lets see if you understand or not.
    - johnecash August 9, 2011, 6:23 pm
I know what your point was, and I'm not repeating something that you just said a few posts up. I was just clarifying my point, but you know what? I'm not getting into this with you.
    - Ertrov August 10, 2011, 6:14 pm
your "not getting into this with me"? then why would you say "I just contradict with whatever Johnecash says." Too late you have already done what you don't want to do.
    - johnecash August 11, 2011, 5:28 am
Nope, I got you riled up, so I've succeeded in accomplishing my goal.
    - Ertrov August 11, 2011, 6:00 am
you got me riled up? you amaze me at the things you think you know about. all i know, for a fact, is yet again your actions and your words don't match. nice try you young foolish friend. i love that you even think anyone let alone me care about you as much as you do. its ok, as you have proven time and time again, you are too young to know any better. i know your brain can't comprehend anything you don't type so let me spell it out. Goal Fail. Though it is funny that I succeeded in accomplishing my goal. To let your contradict your self time and time again, being nothing more than the fool. You child are nothing more than a tool in my tool box. To be used when I see fit, and put away and ignored when I see fit. If you disagree then by all means go against what you say, "Im not getting into this with you" by trying to explain why your not a tool. Its so fun to make you do things you said you would not do. I must admit though, its way to easy. I do feel bad laughing at children like you. Not that bad though.
    - johnecash August 11, 2011, 8:32 am
You statement is correct. an old saying in the medical community is that the dosage make the poison.

I, for one, am 100% pro legalization because of experience. n_n

You, for one, are 100% silly because of your comment. ^_^

Might not be decriminalized for much longer in Canada. Our current gov't doesn't quite care for pot. In fact, they've been increasing penalties for non-medical use and making medical marijuana even more difficult to acquire. =(

  • 1

    It's not decriminilized in Australia.

  • 0

whats the difference between decriminilized and legal? In the netherlands you can buy a few grams and smoke and whatever, in coffee shops. In germany there is no law that wont allow you to hurt yourself, because using drugs is considered hurting yourself it is kinda allowed to smoke weed, but you are not allowed to be in possesion of weed or buy weed nor sell it. So for me it is not the same because actually you shouldnt be able to get weed in germany because you cant have it but in the netherlands it is allowed to buy it
