Space Shuttle take off - Photos by Twitter users

I was watching space shuttle take off tonight. I was also waiting for Twitter members to start posting their photos. The first photo was posted by BILL_ROMANOS and it soon became yet another tweet-a-photo Twitter phenomena. Dozens of Twitter members started tweeting their Space Shuttle photos.

I learned it will be impossible for me to re-tweet them all. So I collected a bunch of photos from different Twitter members. Enjoy!

Quite lovely. A testament to human will and knowledge. And to the artistic sensitivities of countless 'average' people. Thank you all.

Where was this shuttle taking off from? Another country? Because, I live in Florida right next to Cape Canaveral, and I know for a fact that Florida was not in the position to launch due to weather.
