    Yeah... to be fair, some things are incredibly difficult (I could never do that tanks minigame in that egyptian themed level)
    But i hate that kind of talking-to-a-retard dialogue.

    Instead of "Follow me Spyro!" *He jumps to a ledge* *You follow him*
    You get "Follow me Spyro! To jump, press the X button, then while in midair, press the X button again to glide!"

    in all honesty it was designed for 5 year olds, they need direction or they wouldn't play
    but i do see your point, everything was explained allot, fireworks factory. to use cannon walk into it, no shit
