    i will kill you
i'm on lent (fasting) this is fucked up i tell you!
    i want burgers NOW

Woot! an advantage of abandoning the religion I was raised with.
    - Turtlestlker April 5, 2012, 2:53 pm
    m sorry lol
i did not really get what you said :D
    - MissRandom April 5, 2012, 4:15 pm
he's saying he abandoned his religion that didnt allow him to eat meat
    - GothicRoze April 5, 2012, 8:50 pm
I don't have to deal with Lent anymore whenever it came around it annoyed the piss outa me. Also the religion I abandoned was Catholicism and Christianity and general.
    - Turtlestlker April 5, 2012, 11:23 pm
    well.. i love lent
it is the time for discipline and controlling your body and its desires :D
i was just in a moment of weakness XD
    - MissRandom April 6, 2012, 8:37 am
why would you do that :(
what did you find that was better than christianity :(
(i am in no mean offending you or your choice.. i am just curious)
    - MissRandom April 6, 2012, 8:38 am
Don't care for religion in general, never clicked with me in the first place. The people I'm Surrounded by doesn't help either, ultimately I came to the conclusion that I didn't believe in a "god".
    - Turtlestlker April 6, 2012, 1:54 pm
i wish you were surrounded by people who were real christians who could've made you feel god's presense through their lives :(
but it's your choice after all
how does it feel to live life without believing in god?
    i always wondered..
    - MissRandom April 7, 2012, 5:51 am
    doesn't lent end tomorow though?
    only 1 more day! :D
    - Fail4424 April 7, 2012, 6:58 am
i'm greek orthodox.. easter is on the 15th for us XD
so one more week to go for me XD
    - MissRandom April 7, 2012, 7:21 am
    oh, harsh :/
so what did you give up for lent, burgers??
    - Fail4424 April 7, 2012, 7:23 am
everything! i am a vegan now! LOL
no meat or dairy products or eggs XD
    - MissRandom April 7, 2012, 7:47 am
    for a whole month?!?!?!?!?
    wow, that'd b impossible!!!!!
in some past years i've tried to give up chocholate, always failed :/
    - Fail4424 April 7, 2012, 7:59 am
    well its 50 days
and i allow myself 7 free days out of it
so each week i have one day i can eat whatever XD
    - MissRandom April 7, 2012, 8:05 am
even if i could do that i would still fail :P
    - Fail4424 April 7, 2012, 8:14 am
    thus the name XD
    - MissRandom April 7, 2012, 1:52 pm
No different really. Some people don't need to convince themselves there's a god to enjoy life. Heck, the idea some some all powerful all knowing being is keeping tabs on humanity scared the crap out of me. Atheism is a huge relief. Even if I could make myself believe, Religion in general doesn't make much sense to me. I can't convince myself that being with the power and sophistication to create the universe would expect or need people to follow religions.
    - CrazyJay April 7, 2012, 2:38 pm
hmm.. i don't think that people need to convince themselves that there is a god to enjoy life :S
sorry to say that and i do not mean to offend any1 by saying this.. muslims for instance have the relationship of fear with god
they FEAR hell and they FEAR punishment
however christians love god and therefore do the right thing and not because of fear
relegions are different and can suit any1
i can not talk much about this subject because i honestly don't know anything beyond christianity and islam however i do believe :) and it gives me relief that i do believe in god and jesus
    - MissRandom April 7, 2012, 3:51 pm
I've lived with both, and living is no different I just see no reason to believe and have never felt love for something that I don't think exists.
    - Turtlestlker April 7, 2012, 6:11 pm
i understand your point of view
    but i don't agree with you :)
    - MissRandom April 7, 2012, 6:19 pm
Thats all that can be asked of someone from a different point of view.
    - Turtlestlker April 7, 2012, 6:32 pm
    you guessed it Snapps ;)
    - Fail4424 April 7, 2012, 6:38 pm
Sounds like someone is jelly they can't eat a nice, cheese filled burger wrapped in bacon...with all the right toppings. Probably with a side of fries and mozzarella sticks and then some molten chocolate ice cream cake for dessert ;)
    - casper667 April 8, 2012, 2:10 am
but i actually did go and have me a nice juicy burger from johnny rockets the next day XD
i dun go through the whole 50 days btw.. just like i told fail.. i give myself some days to eat what i want
i tend to phase out and have terrible headaches if i dont
my eating habbits are not very good XD
    - MissRandom April 8, 2012, 6:01 am
    well to be honest
my best friend is muslim and i don't agree with her beliefs but that does not affect who she is or how i see her
you can not categorize people according to their religion..
    - MissRandom April 8, 2012, 6:06 am
Well, I don't even think I could go one day sooo your eating habits must be a lot better than mine :D
    - casper667 April 8, 2012, 6:11 am
you mean my self control is better XD
but my eating habbits are very bad
like on lent.. i barely have one meal and it's something like rice or bread
like i don't give my body what it needs :S
    - MissRandom April 8, 2012, 6:49 am
Lol I barely have one meal today cause I don't feel like going to the store and were out of food :D
    - casper667 April 8, 2012, 5:02 pm
    i know that feeling
well.. as much as its bad.. i don't mind having one meal a day since i haven't been to the gym in a while :S
    - MissRandom April 8, 2012, 5:22 pm
I haven't ever been to the gym :S besides highschool...
    - casper667 April 9, 2012, 2:20 am
    well i like to eat..
so i gota go to the gym in order to keep in shape XD
    - MissRandom April 9, 2012, 2:27 am
lol XD I've never had a problem with my weight or athleticity(if that's a word :?)
    - casper667 April 9, 2012, 2:42 am
    lol i did
i used to be really chubby till i lost all the extra weight
and now i gota make sure i don't gain the weight back XD
    - MissRandom April 9, 2012, 2:57 am
Whats your exercise schedule at the gym? Like what workouts do you do? I can't imagine you'd need to do much fasting for so long :P
    - casper667 April 9, 2012, 3:04 am
its actually like specified.. i only go for toning my body.. the gym has several machines -each focuses on certain muscles- they are put in a circle and you use them in order, each for 30 seconds.. then you go to the stretching bars XD
its a 30 minute work out
    - MissRandom April 9, 2012, 7:54 am
Oh... I see. We used to do like 3 minute long stations like that in highschool, but that class was an hour and 30min not just 30min :P
    - casper667 April 9, 2012, 10:22 pm
well i don't need more than 30 minutes XD
it's too boring if you gota do the same circle for an hour and a half
the machines in my gym can;t be handled for mmore than 30 seconds
they are hydraulics and the longer and harder you use them, the harder they actually get :S
the point is.. it's 30 minutes for a reason XD
    - MissRandom April 10, 2012, 1:33 am
We had freeweights :/ At the end of the hour and a half I was usually so exhausted I could barely bench 100LBS lol... then immediately after that we had track practice and had to run for like an hour and a half straight :(
    - casper667 April 10, 2012, 2:14 am
i wish i can join something like that
m bored.. i wana run.. i just feel like going for a run every morning :( but with the environment around here.. it's not possible :(
    - MissRandom April 10, 2012, 12:22 pm
    :( Buy treadmill? lol
    - casper667 April 10, 2012, 4:41 pm
no! they are not the same thing
and plus i don't have place to put such a thing XD
    - MissRandom April 11, 2012, 12:31 am
You cuss D: I had no idea....
    - dogggy April 11, 2012, 12:57 am
    :$ appearantly i do
i rarely do.. but i DO
specially when i lose my temper XD and this time.. i REALLY did
    - MissRandom April 11, 2012, 2:53 pm
    >.< ok
    - dogggy April 12, 2012, 8:19 am
    - MissRandom April 12, 2012, 8:21 am
i do live surrounded by 'proper' christians, and most of them are pleasant, tolerant people, i quite like them. it never clicked with me, either, i abandoned anglicanism. I thought and read around a fair deal and decided, god wasn't for me. I therefore found no point in giving anything up for lent to show a control of desires.
    - Bekenel April 28, 2012, 7:56 am
    well.. lent is over..
you are a bit too late XD
just teasing.. the thing is.. i love believing in god and angels
    religion has changed my life
i myself have lived a phase of my life away from god.. it was the worst part of my 22 years
my life has changed when i went back to god's arms :)
but each person has his own faith and his own way of surviving :)
i wish you luck with your life :D and wow that was a VERY long time to get a respond from you :D
    - MissRandom April 28, 2012, 8:14 am
i don't really care about the time, as long as i can get a decent conversation. i've had someone reply after 2 years and it still turned out interesting :P

anyway, i'll be honest, i feel more free after having left religion. good luck to yourself following god, honestly, but i feel better off without him
    - Bekenel April 28, 2012, 8:53 pm
everybody would follow the road that is more comfortable and convincing to them :)
you made a choice.. i wish you luck with it as well :D
    - MissRandom April 29, 2012, 1:15 pm
to your point of view, my way is gonna take me straight to hell, but hey, it's where i belong, frankly
    - Bekenel April 29, 2012, 8:08 pm
    to be frank
i don't believe in heaven or hell
and i believe a person goes to heaven or hell based on their manners and behaviour
thoughts and the way of life
so if you were good, you will go to a good place when you die
but if you are bad, regardless to what religion you follow.. your krama on earth and afterwards will be horrible
i have no right to judge where a person is going
that is only for god to know :) and a real christian would always tell you that
    - MissRandom April 30, 2012, 8:59 am
that all depends upon your perception of what good and bad, right and wrong is - there isn't one universal standardised concept of what it is. Many such as myself will have a very differing concept of it from yourself, i'm sure, and as such will not believe the same idea of what gets one into a good afterlife or not, if that even is a reality. Take me for example. I don't reject belief in god, i concede that he could possibly exist. what i do expressly reject, however, is his absolute authority over me. This is what leads me to develop differing moral standards. And as Aquinas suggested, humans are, mostly, drawn to what they believe is 'good'. I am drawn to my own concept of good, and i will not let a God, whether he exists or not, get in my way.
But i hope well for your good self, your own beliefs and choices, good luck to you :)
    - Bekenel April 30, 2012, 11:23 am
it is funny how we keep telling each other good luck
the conversation is so dry XD
where are you from? how old are you?
    you can call me snapps
    - MissRandom April 30, 2012, 12:40 pm
i'm a 17 year old english student, and i'm currently studying philosophy, ethics and politics, i have a massive interest in this sort of stuff sorry haha
    - Bekenel April 30, 2012, 8:13 pm
    lol why are you apologizing
    and tbh that's impressive :)
    - MissRandom May 1, 2012, 1:34 am
you mentioned the conversation is a bit dry. Yeah, i have a massive interest in them, i'm probably the most radical student in my year in terms of theory, and i love getting into debates :P
    - Bekenel May 1, 2012, 11:13 am
it's not your fault,, so don't say sorry
i lik debates but i've never been in one
do you have a debate team in school?
    - MissRandom May 1, 2012, 12:13 pm
nope, but in philosophy, ethics and politics, it's pretty routine
    - Bekenel May 1, 2012, 12:14 pm
you aren't dependent on a all mighty deity to bring you happiness that's the only difference. oh and don't contemplate the reason god created us every five fucking seconds.
    - purplejesus July 2, 2012, 8:44 pm
this is a very old thread... i'm not sure which reply you are responding to :)

Whats the red burger maker thing?

It's a burger press. It shapes the patties for you so you don't have to fight the meat.

    This is so fucking awesome!!!!!!!
Was just at a local burger night last night too, used to think they had good burgers, now I know better. They could learn from your superior culinary skills.
But I'm also a little mad/sad, I want to eat this burger NOW!!! Ahhh, alas I will have to get by on my triscuits and kroger deli ham, washed down with a tepid miller lite. Uh....

My sister makes the burger with just cheese in the middle and nothing on the outside like that its called a juicy loosy

  • 1

    can't stop watching!!!! yummi!!!!

  • 1

or you could just mix the cheese in the burger instead of putting it in the middle, plus mixing it in with it would ensure cheese in every bite and not just in the middle, and same for the bacon cut it into small chunks and mix it all together

  • 1

exactly what type of press is that used? it looks like the Charcoal Companion Stuff-a-burger press
