Dear people of sharenatoria, I need your help!

To Keep it short:

I miss the times when I played games with friends home and not alone when everyone is home. I miss the time when you could buy a console with 4 friends and everyone had a Controller and you could meet and Play games.

Nowadays almost every game has multiplayer mode, but usually only online, without split Screen and if there is a coop split Screen mode it is only for 2 People. And this sucks ass. I played so many games and never understood why you only could Play with ONE friend, if you could.
In halo you always can Play with friends on one console, so why wont it work with battlefield, COD, Borderlands, left 4 dead etc. actually any game that is Team based.
Even games that are not Team based, you used to Play shooter with friends and only could hope that nobody Looks at your Screen.

And system link is just not realistic with 50 Inch flat Screens.

I just want split Screen games back, and hope this Petition will help. I saw a couple of petitions that got some Attention after about 10 000 People signed it.

Please share this links with friends who like to Play games and please sign. I just hope that some developers will think about it and instead of just having only 2 Players Play on one console we get back 4. I am sick of rotating all the time and playing the same games over and over and over again.

I used to Play games with my friends 1-2 times in a month (you know if you dont have any Money for doing something else) and we started in the evening and played til breakfast. Now we meet at about 9 p.m. and stop at 3.a.m. because we played every game a hundred times. And I am sick of playing 15 year old games because there are no new games to Play (dont get me wrong they are awesome but after playing Mario kart for about 3 hours every month you lose the fun)

Thank you,
here a Picture for you and the link

so i was on halo 2 with my bro and like 6 guys the other day... system link all over the house. personally i dont think some of these new games are that great for multiplayer so i end up signing off XBL and playing by myself. the older games were the shiznits.

I know. That is how I played all my life with my friends. When I didnt go on Party I went every WE to one of my friend and we met there with 4 or more People and played games.
Now when I dont have any Money to go out and wanna Play with friends its either playing gamecube and N64 or halo 4 or everyone is home and we Play together. But you know it is hard to get everyone to buy the same game. That is why I want to have split Screen back.

With diablo 3 and halo 4 it works just fine and some arcade games, but like borderlands or left 4 dead which would be perfect it doesnt work because only 2 People can Play on one console and I dont understand why they dont just split the Screen one more time, the TVs are a lot bigger than they used to be, I used to Play on a Screen that is smaller than my PC Screen now, with 4 People.

Halo is a far superior game to the copy paste warfares. Sadly, it takes a lot more effort to make games like that, and so the newer games don't really bother.

well I think other games would be just fine to Play with 3 friends: borderlands, left 4 dead, any shooter, any racing game I think almost every game with multiplayer mode would be good to Play on one console.

It would probably be fine, but those games developers didn't feel it was a worthy feature to include. The problem with games on a fast schedule is that they only have a very limited number of features they can implement. Other games, like the Halos and Blizzard games generally put more time into their games.

For games like Call of Duty, it might not just be a matter of splitting the screen once more, but adding in 2 extra players that adds additional strain on the console itself. They tend to pump one of those games out a year, and the fast time schedule probably leaves the code not as optimal as a game with more time spent on it like Halo which could make it lag with more players.

I would still appreciate when new IPs come out they think about having a multiplayer on one console. I feel like nobody thinks about it anymore, they all have some Kind of multiplayer online only but thinking about that you wanna see and talk to your friends next to you and Show them stuff but pointing on it instead of trying to explain over a Headset seems to be hard for them.
